Carbon fiber re -caps on the ski will allow infinite number of holes...

I love it when we push conventional wisdom right out the door. I hate dogma, anyway. But, for a guy like you whose competitive exploits are rife with gear failure, this one should be interesting to watch. You go, boy!

Raced them last night. Seemed to be fine. This isn't the first time I've done a close mount. I have some Tuas and Trabs that are swiss-cheesed, and they still work fine. But, we shall see . . . .

Bart, not sure how a carbon recap would work.

I'm about to remount Hagan X Race skis 7mm apart(Dynafit boots to Aliens). They have a metal topsheet, so I'm not expecting too much trouble. How have yours held up for the last 2 months? Other options is to go with a ATK adjustment plate, but it is much bigger than I expected so I'm not thrilled with that idea.
